Joshua has had some megablocks (sort of like large legos for toddlers) for quite awhile, but he has never really built with them. He liked putting them into containers and taking them out again. But today, for the first time, he realized he could stack them and build some towers. It was exciting to see him make that connection. He gets a little frustrated when he can't do exactly what he wants the first time, but he is getting it. I think we will get him a larger set since he just has a few blocks now.

A Little Builder
Joshua has had some megablocks (sort of like large legos for toddlers) for quite awhile, but he has never really built with them. He liked putting them into containers and taking them out again. But today, for the first time, he realized he could stack them and build some towers. It was exciting to see him make that connection. He gets a little frustrated when he can't do exactly what he wants the first time, but he is getting it. I think we will get him a larger set since he just has a few blocks now.
