Something I started right after Christmas is only having half of Joshua's toys out at once. He has so many that it just looked like a toy store threw up in our playroom and he never really played with that many. Other than being a mini-workout for me to cart all the toys to the basement and back (and to his room, as I am also switching out his books), it is going really well. He is really excited to play with the "new" toys each week and for the first day, like today, he goes a little crazy trying to play with them all.
