Joshua really enjoys hitting things against other things. So we got him a toy where there are pegs that can be hit by a little wooden hammer, thinking that he would really enjoy hammering the pegs. Instead, he doesn't care about the hammer and would much rather just use his finger to push the pegs through. Oh well, close enough. As long as he enjoys it, that's good enough for us.
