Today our advent activity was to get out the kid-friendly manger scene. We also read one of our Christmas books that talks about how the shepherds and wise men followed the star to Bethlehem to worship Jesus. I don't think they really understand all that much, but Joshua really enjoyed alternating the angel with the other characters on the top of the manger and Clara liked holding all the figures. I guess we are moving up from when the manger was brought out at Grandma's and Joshua tried to feed baby Jesus to the sheep.
