8 Months

Today Clara turned 8 months old. She is getting to be a very big girl. She has stood up for a split second once or twice without first pulling up, so we think it won't be too long until she can do it for longer. She has zero interest in cruising, but then again Joshua was never into that either, so maybe it won't be her thing. She is starting to make responsive noises to communicate. She loves her big brother, except maybe when he takes her toys. When she wakes up in the morning, she is super excited to see him every single day. She is liking more and more foods, though she still gets most of her nutrition from formula. She absolutely loves drinking water. She can drink out of a short straw and we are working on longer ones like they have at restaurants. She likes puffs and corn and most fruits. She can self-feed okay, though she still isn't big on the pincer grasp so that makes it a bit harder to get the food in her mouth. She holds her own bottle or cup except when she is really crabby or tired.
