Today we closed on our mortgage refinance. I was really excited because I am very financially conservative and was not really comfortable having a thirty-year mortgage, so when the rates dropped and allowed us to refinance to a fifteen-year without a much higher payment, we were really excited to take advantage of that. We used the same mortgage broker who helped with the purchase of our house and he helped us lock at just the right time so it was a very positive experience to work with him and the closing went very smoothly despite the fact I had to bring the kids, which wasn't ideal.
That's awesome that you were able to take advantage of the great refinancing deals available now. We are hoping to close in the next week on ours.
