Raindrops Keep Failling on Her Head

Hurricane Isaac hit the Gulf Coast a couple days ago, and its remnants have been moving up the middle of the country, though of course at this point it's producing nothing more than rain.  Today was Kansas City's day to get soaked, so we got a reprieve from our drought with a day-long downpour.  Although Joshua loves the rain and tries to go out in it every chance he gets, Clara hasn't had much experience with it.  Earlier today I opened the back door to look out, and Clara quickly came over and wanted to go out.  So I let her crawl out on the back deck.  She was fascinated by it.  She wasn't sure what was going on, but she knew something was happening from above.  Here are a couple of her reactions, where she tries to taste it and then holds out her hands in an effort to try to understand what exactly is happening, although she really ends up looking like an actress making a dramatic pose.  She was really happy, giving us two kids who'd rather be outside than inside on a rainy day.
